These practices create comfort, concentration and coordination. They benefit everybody who sits, stands, walks and exercises while breathing. The material is easy to learn and implement. You can teach the techniques to your clients, colleagues, friends and family.
Each class includes unique uses of the Balansit and Precision Rotator Disc:
* Movement practices that alternate active sitting with movement sequences in supine, side lying, prone, quadruped, bridging, high kneeling, planks and standing balance
* Individually tailored variations for each participant
* Discussion of recent references relevant to breathing, gait patterning, brain states for focus, applied biotensegrity of the jaw
* Coherent nose breathing to support clarity and ventral vagal tone
* Standing movement sequence to stimulate alertness and release of nitric oxide
* Uses of the Balansit® and Precision Rotator Disc with the Reformer, Chair and Trapeze Table. (Pilates equipment not required.)
You’ll need:
* 1 Balansit® sized for your height and the width of your pelvis
* 1 Precision Rotator Disc with no resistance, 12” diameter
Recordings available will be posted within 24 hours of class and all will be available until May 31, 2022.
